Variety of Jobs
by: Bob

Not always having to do the same thing. I like learning. I like trying new things.

I've had fun doing things for a few days or weeks that I wouldn't have wanted to do for years on end. Planting millions of baby pine tree was one of them. I really liked working with Walter, a retired county extension agent. He taught me a lot about agriculture in Alabama. He knew all the local farmers and we'd stop to visit with them. I got to see things, like the state nursery, that I'd never have seen otherwise. But, my back wouldn't have taken riding that tree planting machine forever.

Feeling Independent

Is to move on to another job when it gets boring.
You don't have to stay there for 20 years.
