American Land and Leisure, a Campground Concessionaire, Pays RVers Hourly Wages

American Land and Leisure is a concessionaire that maintains and manages campgrounds on federal lands. AL&L hires hundreds of RV workers and pays an hourly wage for seasonal campground jobs.

AL&L is looking for several hard working couples to work as campground hosts in the Lake Almanor, CA area for summer 2012. Because each camp host’s assignment is not the same, we can’t detail each specific task at all campgrounds.

The following is a description of general duties you can expect in most assignments.

~ Meeting and greeting the public

~ Collecting and accounting for fees

~ Cleaning

~ Maintaining the campgrounds

Work schedules are flexible. You will be busiest on the weekends. Plan to work a few hours a day, six days a week, and have a day off in the middle of the week.

American Land and Leisure pays minimum wage for the state you are working in. We also provide your campsite and the hookups that are available in your campground. Each person should expect to work about 20 hours per week. Couples can expect to make from $700 to $1,300 per month.

Most employment opportunities with American Land and Leisure begin in May and end in September. The heart of the season is Memorial Day to Labor Day. We expect employees to complete the entire season of their assignment.

Uniforms are required and are provided by American Land & Leisure.

Other seasonal campground jobs for RVers may be available in other states. You'll find more information about these positions on the AL&L website:
