AirCard for Internet Connection

John Fulton
(Smyrna, GA)

We also rely on our AirCard for internet connectivity while we are lighthouse keepers on Thacher Island off the coast of Rockport, Massachusetts.

Our new laptop also has the new express slot and will not accommodate our older AirCard. We were able to find a data cable on eBay that allows us to connect directly to our phone without taking out the Sims card and it hooks into the USB slot in either of our laptops. We still need the monthly service ($19.95) but it's worth it.

They say next year we will have wireless connectivity on the island but we will still need it when we work at The Great Pumpkin Patch in Arthur, IL.

Happy travels, John Fulton http://www.jfulton50.smugmug.com
