Workers On Wheels: Work For RVers and Campers

Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

There's a sure sign that summer is on the way. RVers are cancelling out of their summer work agreements. It happens every year about this time. Campground owners are looking to fill job vacancies for positions they thought they had filled months ago.

The good news for RVers is that you can find work in choice summer locations now that may not have been available earlier in the year. If you inquired about working somewhere and were told they had no positions open, that may have changed.

Bob and I went to a home show today. Not a show of RV homes, but the "sticks 'n bricks" kind of home. Yikes. The prices on building components, such as siding and flooring, seem out of this world. The high maintenance of lawns, and hot tubs, and on and on…. It was a great reminder of how wonderfully economical it can be to live in an RV.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

Working RVer Tip

There's a need for substitute or fill-in campground workers. Seasonal campground staff get sick, need time off for weddings, go back to see the grandkids at Christmas, or decide to bug out of their commitment early. These are just some of the reasons campground owners need workers who are happy to work for only a week or two.
