Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

Health insurance is the one thing that holds so many from making the leap into full-time RVing. It's confusing. It's expensive. Where do you even start to look? I'm happy to share a website by full-time RVer Kyle Henson that may help you find what you need. Kyle is an insurance agent who specializes in helping RVers. The site has info on Medicare, also. See what's there, then ask him for a quote.

A Simple, Easy Business to Do While RVing

We've done a variety of RV-based businesses. Quite frankly, some of them had compensation plans that we never did figure out. There were all sorts of levels and terms and this and that that was hard to explain. Jerky Direct is refreshingly simple. We're finding it to be profitable -- and very tasty!

Working RVer Tip

Here's a way to help you figure out what kind of work you can do on the road.

List the things you enjoy doing in your leisure time (or would like to if you had leisure time). Next, make a list of the things you know how to do (or could reasonably learn to do). Then, cross the two and see what overlaps. Finally, look at how you could earn a living doing some of those things.

Working RVer Tip

If you are looking for short term jobs (30 days to six weeks). The concessionaires in national parks are a great place to get them before Memorial Day and after Labor Day. They often need workers to fill in before school gets out for the summer and after it starts in the fall.
