Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

It's awfully easy to get into a rut of doing the same thing day in and day out. And, without even thinking about it, to stop doing other things we enjoy. Somewhere along the line, I stopped painting and making jewelry. Even though I enjoy those arts and have sold some of my work, those pursuits got set aside.

This past week, we hit JoAnn's for some jewelry making supplies. I skipped working at our secondhand store one day, and spent it hammering, painting, and crafting. It felt good.

Although we opened our store with the intention of it being a part-time endeavor during the time we spend in Alaska, it had turned into a seven day a week schedule. We all need to sometimes step back, take stock of where we are and what we are doing, and reevaluate to see if we need to make changes.

I'm thankful for the flexibility I have with my work.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Put relevant information on your resume. This means to show what skills and experience you have that would help you to do the tasks the position requires. Skills you've gained from being a home owner can be more relevant than those you've gained in your professional career.
