Workers On Wheels: Work For RVers and Campers

Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

Lots of new job postings coming in the past few days. I broke them into two sections here, so be sure to read through the entire newsletter so you don't miss the second set.

September is already half over; I'm not sure where the days went. I think it may have something to do with that old adage about time goes faster as you get older. It seems it wasn't long ago when Bob and I started full-time RVing and people referred to us as "the kids." The Escapees Club had a chapter that was promoted as being for the younger RVers and it had an age range -- and we were too young for it. Well, that was over 20 years ago. Now? Well, we already qualify for some senior discounts and we don't have to worry about not being old enough for those "55+" RV parks.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

Newbie Work Camping Questsons

~~ Mary writes: We're new to this work camping, so have lots of questions...
1. How do YOU find your next position?
2. What do you personally look for when applying for a position?
3. How long in advance do you try to plan work?

~~ I answered: Well, I didn't answer! Mary isn't asking for my answers, she's asking for yours. She'd like to hear from many of you. Would you please help out a fellow RVing couple by answering her questions?

As a side note, you may notice a posting with tomorrow's date on it. That's because the computer program uses Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). GMT is International time. It marks the starting point of every time zone in the world.
