Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

We took a few days mid-week to go into Anchorage, leaving behind our To-Do lists. We needed the change of pace and the break from our normal routine. It's awfully easy to put off taking a few days away from work, thinking we need to get this or that done before we go. But, invariably, when we do go just to relax and enjoy ourselves, we find we accomplish a great deal. It's something we need to do more often.

While we did see a number of RVs out, we opted to stay in a motel this trip. Many of the RVers we saw were towing trailers loaded with snow machines.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

What Really Matters When Job Hunting

This list is in response to some letters I’ve received, describing personal circumstances and lamenting about not being able to find work.

Three things that will NOT help you to find work:
1. Having a new RV
2. Having an expensive RV
3. Being deserving of a job

Three things that may or may not help you to find work:
1. Education
2. Experience
3. References

Three things that WILL help you to find work:
1. A positive outlook
2. An amiable attitude
3. A willingness to do the job
