Workers On Wheels Work For RVers and Campers

Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

How does a campground owner find help? That's not a rhetorical question. It is a real question I've gotten several times over the past few weeks. What surprises me is that it isn't RVers who are asking it, in order to put themselves out there where park owners are looking. Instead, the question is being asked by park owners who have positions to fill. They are new owners, who don't know how to find work campers. Or, they are folks who've had the campground for years, doing most of the work themselves, who now, when they want to cut back, don't know how to go about finding help.

If you are looking for a campground job, be pro-active. Contact the parks where you'd like to work and ask if they have any openings. If you spend time at a park and would like to work there, ask the owner if they need help. Take the initiative.

And now, back to that question: How does a campground owner find help? Park owners, I'd appreciate hearing from you on how you go about filling job openings. RVers, drop me an email and let me know how you found your current and past positions. Thanks.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

#1 Recommended Work for RVers -- Watkins Summit Group Business

The goal of a successful Watkins business is helping more people use more Watkins products. JR Watkins has been making superior products since 1868. The liniment has been providing pain relief for over 140 years. The double strength vanilla is legendary. The Natural Product Association certifies many of the skin care products. Most of the cleaning products are natural and non-toxic. With about 350 food, personal care, home care, and medicinal products, these are the things you use in your home every day.

Associates on my team now have the chance to get $60 worth of these products free. Join my team, and I'll give you a $10 gift certificate. Additionally, the Summit Group is offering a $50 gift certificate to any associate on my team who orders the WYH product assortment upgrade by the end of this month (July 2012). The reason behind the offer is simple -- we want you to try these products because we believe that you will love them and want more of them.

Part of our income comes from my being an Independent Watkins Associate (ID #362289) within the Summit Group. I'd love to help you build a successful business, too. To see a product catalog, find out what we do, and how you can get started, click here. Then, as you have questions, just drop my an email or give me a call.

Earn Commissions with a Free Affiliate Program

An affiliate program pays you for sending customers to a particular retailer. You either receive a percentage of sales or a flat fee for each purchase. One of my favorites is the Sitesell Affiliate Program. There is no cost to sign up for it. They have a video that tells more about it. The video is not selling anything, it just has info on the affiliate program, so go ahead and click here now.

Christmas in July

Now's a good time to think about what work you'll be doing during the Christmas holiday season. We have ads on the website looking for people to hang Christmas lights and decorations and to manage tree lots. Those are two good options. There are others. This link goes to an article I wrote about some ideas you might consider.

Working RVer Tip

Use one position as a step to another. Working as a deckhand gives you boat time needed to be a captain. Camp hosting can lead to being the assistant manager of an RV park one year and the manager the next. The museum volunteer is the logical person to hire to fill in for a paid staff person who is out on medical leave.
