Your Working While RVing Questions Answered

Graphic Arts Finishing Business

~~ Chuck F. writes: I need to work in the field of work I am presently working in now, the graphic arts finishing business, which is die cutting, cutting, gluing, folding, foil stamping, and embossing of printed material. I would like to commute a fairly short distance to work within a half hour from the camp resort each day.

~~ I answered in part: You've been in the business for 30 years, so you must have some contacts. Now is the time to call on them. Increase the networking that you do with your co-workers, suppliers, and folks in related businesses. Do that in person, and maybe with some online social media besides.

~~ Read Chuck's complete inquiry and the rest of my answer -- and add your comments -- on the website.

I have a few copies left of the current issue of The Original Clark's Flea Market U.S.A. This is the national directory of flea markets and swap meets that we use when we are working flea markets. It is also a handy guide for finding flea markets if you just like going to them to browse or to shop. New Favorite Work Camper Campground Nominee

Your Working While RVing Questions Answered

Earn Without Leaving Your RV

~~ Barbara asks: Recently (2-3 months ago?) you wrote a note on your newsletter regarding a work from home site that you highly recommend (it was not Watkins). Unfortunately, I did not copy it and am unable to locate this information. Can you enlighten me and inform me in which newsletter I can find this info (or send me a copy of the paragraph)?

~~ I answered: I don't know which newsletter it what in, but I'm sure this is the site:

Working RV Profile

Lulu Entertainment

~ from Al Faria, Lulu's husband

Lulu recently left her four night a week entertainment gigs in Florida to live in her 36 foot fifth wheel and travel around the country. The purpose of the move was not to go out and look for work, but rather, to experience the exciting and adventurous lifestyle of a full-time RVer.

However, music is in her blood, and she would never be able to completely quit her great talent. So, she brings all her equipment with her, along with her husband, who takes care of the technical and business side of her performance, and performs wherever she may stay.

~~ Read more about this working RV couple on the website -- or ask them questions.

I appreciate your service. Please discontinue the ad and mark it "POSITION FILLED." Merry Christmas to you and Happy New Year.

Welcome!

We started this site after corresponding with thousands of RVers, sharing what we’ve learned from our personal experience as full-time RVers, as well as what we've gleaned from employers and managers who hire and work with work campers and other RV workers.

We do hope we've been instrumental in helping you find the right work situation for your RV lifestyle.

We believe there are many advantages to having an RV home based business that we can take on the road with us. We've found a Watkins Summit Group business works for us.

We are also thankful for SBI!, the "do-all-the-techy-stuff-for-you" e-business building platform that made creating this RV resource site possible.

If you have questions, we're always happy to help. Simply submit them here....
