Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

So much available work and so little time to do it! If only we could be in three places at once -- or maybe a dozen.

As editor here, I see so many fun sounding jobs come through the listings. Some pay very well. Others are volunteer positions that only offer an RV site and perks, but they are for causes that tug at my heartstrings -- such as those at the animal shelters.

I do hope that you find positions that are right for you.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

For some, it is money. You may need wages to make your RV payment, pay for insurance, and buy the things you need for day-to-day living -- as well as enough to save for your retirement.

Others are seeking work to enable them to stay in a choice location.

Lodge Jobs Can Keep Many Working RVers Busy with Varied Seasonal Positions

Lodge jobs encompass many of the same types of positions as those at campgrounds, RV parks, and resorts, but are likely to include motel, entertainment, and food and beverage service jobs, as well.

We had breakfast at a nearby lodge the other morning, and it struck me how many jobs they had there. Not only the number of people working, but the different types of jobs there were at that one roadhouse.

Flea Market Vending Allows for Frequent Moves or Settling In for the Season

Flea market vending while full-time RVing lets us choose how often we relocate and how many new markets we work. We can also choose the size of our booth display, making it suitable for any size rig.

The amount of traveling we do fluctuates with the time of year, the prosperity of the present market, and how severe our hitch-itch is at the moment. (Hitch-itch is a term used by full-timers to express the uneasiness of being in one place for too long a time, and the desire to hitch up the rig and move to somewhere new).

~~ This is part of a series of articles on selling at flea markets that I wrote about our experiences, back when we were working the markets full-time. You can read the rest of this article on our website.

Welcome!

We started this site after corresponding with thousands of RVers, sharing what we’ve learned from our personal experience as full-time RVers, as well as what we've gleaned from employers and managers who hire and work with work campers and other RV workers.

We do hope we've been instrumental in helping you find the right work situation for your RV lifestyle.

We believe there are many advantages to having an RV home based business that we can take on the road with us. We've found a Watkins Summit Group business works for us.

We are also thankful for SBI!, the "do-all-the-techy-stuff-for-you" e-business building platform that made creating this RV resource site possible.

If you have questions, we're always happy to help. Simply submit them here....
