Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

I'm still working on the remodel of the website. If you've been to the website lately, you know that we are making major changes.

Remember the last time you remodeled your kitchen? During the process, things were out of place. It was difficult to find them because they were moved around and weren't where you were accustomed to having them. You got rid of some things completely, because they were out of date or no longer worked. In short, your kitchen was torn apart and a mess.

Remodeling a website is much the same.

And, we think that after the remodel is complete it will be much like your new kitchen -- clean and neat, easy to use, a fun place to be, and a project well done.

We invite you to stop by and visit the website. Poke around and find some of the pages that you've never seen before. Take another look at some of the job pages and get some ideas of work that may suit you. There's a lot of good info there.

Help Wanted Ad Classifieds

If you are looking for help wanted ad classifieds, especially for caretaking work camper jobs where you trade your time and effort for an RV parking site and other benefits, I recommend The Caretaker Gazette. If you want to see the ads immediately when published, you can get The Caretaker Gazette online. If you like a printed-on-paper publication, so that you have the newsletter (magazine) to hold and can make notes on, that's available, too. For the best of both worlds, get a dual subscription, where you can access the ads online and have the paper copy postal mailed to you. Included with your subscription to TCG, publisher Gary Dunn sends out email announcements several times a week with new job openings.

Working RVer Tip

Your resume and job application tell an employer many things about you -- things that you may not realize. For instance, if the Help Wanted ad tells you to call for more information, but you send an email instead, it tells the employer that you are not good at following directions.

We started this site after corresponding with thousands of RVers, sharing what we’ve learned from our personal experience as full-time RVers, as well as what we've gleaned from employers and managers who hire and work with work campers and other RV workers.

We do hope we've been instrumental in helping you find the right work situation for your RV lifestyle.

We believe there are many advantages to having an RV home based business that we can take on the road with us. We've found a Watkins Summit Group business works for us.

We are also thankful for SBI!, the "do-all-the-techy-stuff-for-you" e-business building platform that made creating this RV resource site possible.
