Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

We are updating, simplifying, and making major changes to the website. As with most remodeling jobs, there's some mess and confusion in the process. We're adding, removing, and redoing pages. Most of the changes are in response to your comments, compliments, and concerns.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Working RVer Tip

The size of the RV site provided for work campers may not be the same as that for other RVers in the park. Government run parks may have extra large and extra nice sites for their volunteers. They may have utilities that are not available at the sites for the general public. Conversely, some parks may provide a site that is less desirable to the paying public to give as an extra to the employee.

Writing for Profit

Professional Bloggers Professional bloggers earn by writing about something that interests them and frequently posting those writings to a website log -- a blog. They make blogging pay.

Writing about Fly Fishing An RVer asks about writing for profit, "I would like to write about fly fishing spots in the different states. Is there a place for these kind of articles, somewhere to get my stories about fly fishing published?" And, Coleen replies.

A Romance Writer Touches Hearts: Here's How to Get Started Does the idea of being a romance writer strike your fancy? I know some of you scoff at the idea. But, romance novels sell. Someone writes all those love stories and gets paid for doing so.

Writing RV Adventure Books In the pioneer days of America, iron men and stout hearted women loaded their belongings into a Conestoga wagon, hitched up a team of oxen, mules or horses, and headed out. These early road rogues crossed the plains heading for the territory of their dreams, the "promised land."

Writing Resumes A working RVer, Joanne, who writes for profit shares her profile: I am professionally trained in writing resumes. Each resume that I write is personalized to suit my client and his work requirements. In a nutshell, it is one-on-one service.

Working RVer Tip

Before making a phone call, check to see what time it is at the business's location. Call during regular business hours, based on where the business is located. This is especially true if you are calling to check on your job application, negotiate better employment terms, or otherwise ask for a favor. (It is six hours earlier in Hawaii than in Eastern Time Zone states.)

One must marry one's feelings to one's beliefs and ideas. That is probably the only way to achieve a measure of harmony in one's life. ~ Napoleon Hill

We started this site after corresponding with thousands of RVers, sharing what we’ve learned from our personal experience as full-time RVers, as well as what we've gleaned from employers and managers who hire and work with work campers and other RV workers.

We do hope we've been instrumental in helping you find the right work situation for your RV lifestyle.

We believe there are many advantages to having an RV home based business that we can take on the road with us. We've found a Watkins Summit Group business works for us.

We are also thankful for SBI!, the "do-all-the-techy-stuff-for-you" e-business building platform that made creating this RV resource site possible.

If you have questions, we're always happy to help. Simply submit them here....
