Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

We have left Port Mansfield, Texas, and are on our way back to Alaska. I'm not sure how long the trip back will take.

There are two new pages added to the website this week especially for those of you who like to move often. Staying in one location for several months is longer than many RVers want to stay. These jobs -- both work for site and work for a paycheck -- last from a few hours to a few weeks.

If the links here in the e-zine take you to an error page on the website, it's probably because your email settings are breaking them onto two lines. Here's the fix: instead of clicking on them, copy the entire link -- both lines of it -- and then paste it in your browser address bar.

We received some good updates on what you've been doing this winter. I'll share some of those in future issues. If you forgot to send that email to us, there's still time.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Working RVer Tip

The person who is doing the hiring this year isn't necessarily the person who did it last year. So, if you want to work a particular place, and you applied last year and didn't make the cut, try again this year.

Working RVer Tip

Resumes may or may not be kept on file long term. Just because you sent in your resume a year ago doesn't mean it is still on file today. On the other hand, if the information on the resume you submit this year is drastically different from what was on the one from last year, be ready to explain the changes.

Working RVer Tip

Don't get hung up on perfection. Do a good job and get on with it. Some things may require perfection. However for most things, you are better off doing an excellent job, or even just a good job, and getting it done. Perfection can paralyze you to the point where you procrastinate and don't get the job done at all.

Working RVer Tip

Making the decision to do something is sometimes the most difficult part of the job. You can sometimes make that decision easier by just staring the project. Oftentimes, that will either get you excited about working on it or it will let you know that you are better off not doing it.

We started this site after corresponding with thousands of RVers, sharing what we’ve learned from our personal experience as full-time RVers, as well as what we've gleaned from employers and managers who hire and work with work campers and other RV workers.

We do hope we've been instrumental in helping you find the right work situation for your RV lifestyle.

We believe there are many advantages to having an RV home based business that we can take on the road with us. We've found a Watkins Summit Group business works for us.

We are also thankful for SBI!, the "do-all-the-techy-stuff-for-you" e-business building platform that made creating this RV resource site possible.

If you have questions, we're always happy to help. Simply submit them here....
