Wow, lots of job openings came in this past week. I've listed just a few of them below. You'll want to follow back to the website for all of them. When you get there, you don't need register or pay to see the contact details. The phone numbers or email addresses are there for you to use.

Bob and I are in Port Isabel, TX. It's in the way southern part of the state, the southern tip. I think we will stay here for a few weeks. Since leaving our Alaska home base, we've driven over 7,500 miles.

How Should an Employer Contact You?

I continue to receive Work Wanted ads and resumes that do not include a phone number or email address. Employers report similar problems. Also, when you call an employer about a job and leave a message, be sure to leave a phone number for a call back. (If you submitted a Work Wanted ad to us and it isn't posted, it is probably because you didn't have contact info in it.)

Words of Wisdom from Workers

If at First You Don't Succeed, Try Again

~- An RVer writes: We are camp workers working at a resort in Florida. This is our second year as full timers and camp workers. Our first year was not so great. We responded to an ad that turned out to be most disappointing. We felt like slave labor, and after the hard work was done and they were actually up and open, we were treated as if we weren't wanted or welcome at all. The husband was especially nasty and temperamental with a foul mouth. We didn't think we would ever work camp again, but we found a great job at our Florida resort and now would recommend work camping to anyone. If you have a bad experience just keep looking you will find your place in the work camping world.

We started this site after corresponding with thousands of RVers, sharing what we’ve learned from our personal experience as full-time RVers, as well as what we've gleaned from employers and managers who hire and work with work campers and other RV workers.

We do hope we've been instrumental in helping you find the right work situation for your RV lifestyle.

We believe there are many advantages to having an RV home based business that we can take on the road with us. We've found a Watkins Summit Group business works for us.

We are also thankful for SBI!, the "do-all-the-techy-stuff-for-you" e-business building platform that made creating this RV resource site possible.
