We call him Contact Cat because he likes lots of attention. And, he sticks to a person. Never mind that my hands are moving beneath him, Contact Cat remains there, contentedly purring away. And that is one of the things I like best about being a self-employed working RVer. Being able to enjoy the little things in life, such as working with Contact Cat literally at hand, is important to me. It is too early to say for sure, but we are thinking our work and travels may take us south this winter. Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity, Coleen = = = = = Turn Dreams into Reality Secure your financial future. Set your own hours. Have time to travel. I applied for a job driving a bus at Disney World when they were badly in need of drivers. I was told I had to get a Florida CDL. Last year, I applied for a job in Arizona driving a fifteen passenger van and was told, "You'll have to get an Arizona CDL." If a fulltimer like myself has an address they receive mail at or belongs to a group like Escapees that provides an address and mail forwarding, he must give that up in order to accept a part time job driving. ~~ I answered in part: Just because you get mail some place does not mean that place is your legal domicile. Using the Escapees Club's mail forwarding service and their Livingston, TX address does not automatically make you a Texas resident. Not all commercial driving jobs require a commercial drivers license (CDL). There are exceptions for those working in certain agriculture / farm jobs. There may also be exceptions for fire fighters and drivers of other emergency vehicles. Your CDL does not necessarily need to be issued from the state where you are working. For example, the Alaska DMV website states, "If you do not have any intention of becoming a resident of Alaska (Seasonal worker, etc.) you must have a valid CDL from your home state in order to drive a Commercial Motor Vehicle in Alaska." ~~ Read the longer version of my answer on the website. = = = = = Ways RVers Make Money Here's a sampling of work RVers can do to cut their expenses, earn a living and pay for their travels. ~ Dog show judge

List any relevant skills or experiences you've acquired since the last update. Add pertinent information about any job you've had since the last update, such as the dates, notable accomplishments, and the employer contact information. Even if you never submit the resume to an employer, it makes a handy format for keeping track of the information for your own records. = = = = = Working RV Profile Management Beach Host ~~ by Teresa Gall The Galls work at a recreational facility called Moy Mo Da Yo as the management beach host. It is located in Limington, Maine. The site is beautiful with a lake and woods. Moy Mo Da Yo has a tennis court, volleyball, horse shoes, beach with a swimming float, hiking trails, and more. We run all facets of the facility. We manage the day to day operations, which include office, boat inspections, security, and more. The sunsets here are gorgeous. When the sun goes down on the lake it makes a beautiful view to behold. The season is from May to Sept. We receive a full hook up site and a paid salary. But the hours are many.
