Comb your hair, put on a clean shirt, and show up for the interview on time. I was visiting with the hiring manager of a local business and those where the three things that set the successful job candidates apart from those who did not get the job.

Mount Desert Island Campground

Mount Desert Island Campground, Maine, is near Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The Craigheads, owners for years, are wonderful to work for.

The campground is on the Sound and is very quiet. It has many repeat customers of many years.

We were paid for all hours worked. That was approximately thirty each person. It was mostly cleaning sites and bathrooms.

Ghost Towns and the Old West

~~ William B. asks: Who do I contact to submit photographs and stories of the old West, (towns and history) which I have visited throughout the United States in the past five years in my RV?

~~ I answered in part: Here are 15 suggestions for selling your ghost town and old west photos and stories, as well as a few other ideas for making money with them:

1. Magazines about ghost towns and the old west. Since you are interested in the topic, you probably are already familiar with them.

2. Visitor and convention bureaus in states with ghost towns.

3. Create a website business with your photos and stories. This would be perfect for using SBI!'s web business model of Content-Traffic-Presell-Monitize. For more on this, click here.

4. Have your photographs made into post cards, calendars, posters, or prints and sell them online, at craft shows, at historical shows.

5. Get them printed as posters, calendars, post cards, greeting cards, or prints and wholesale them to gift shops.

Upgrade Your Job Qualifications

Get additional training or certification that improves your job qualifications. It might be an adult education class or a community college course. Many of these can be completed in just a few sessions. Or, attend a workshop or convention that offers certification or continuing education credits. You can also find on-line courses so that you don't need to interrupt your travel schedule.
